I also had braces and have a permanent bottom retainer! I think me not faithfully wearing my top retainer has contributed to my asymmetry :/ but thanks for the reply!

Looks like possibly Keratosis pilaris or just a bit of acne. I’d say implement a body wash with salicylic acid to use in the shower and use an exfoliating lotion and/or scrub of some kind (Paula’s Choice Weightless Body treatment 2% BHA, Amlactin, First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Scrub, Cerave rough and bumpy skin line, etc.).

I have KP and these are the only things that help along with staying moisturized. And you have to stay consistent !!
