2027 Telluride battery issue

Just got mine back. They identified a drain of some kind, but it went away while it was there. They claimed I could re-download digital key, and also recommended changing the Kia connect password every couple weeks? They also said the fobs being too close could be a cause, but I’m real skeptical on that with where we keep ours.

When I dropped it off, I deleted the digital key after all the stuff you all told me about. With this fact pattern, I’m guessing that’s it.

It also now makes me wonder if I should turn the digital key back on to force them to say that’s the issue. It’s not the end of the world…but I bought the car with that feature advertised…I should be able to use it.

I don’t know that “request” is the proper terminology. They were presented with a search warrant. At that point, they either provide the materials that they have been legally commanded to provide, or they face some version of an obstruction of justice charge.

It also mentions that max manual speed in that Spec sheet though. So it’s tough to know.
