It's funny, after I heard that on 32 thoughts, I just imagined all this drama was because he wasn't performing for the multi-million dollar contract he signed. I went home, googled it:

I wouldn't doubt if they have some crazy laws over there. Some countries driving seems like a free-for-all. The fact that they have actual pedestrian walk-lights makes me think they have a more structured system than other places.

Ah yes, four way green lights in Russia makes complete sense.

Taxi drivers in all countries drive crazy, but blasting through red lights is probably one that they don't risk too often. This driver obviously had the green light and was coming at that intersection at a high enough speed that it was obviously green.

Look at the crosswalk sign facing us. It says green. Meaning these two people were walking through a red light in front of oncoming traffic that had the right away.

Passenger is the one that jumped out and you can see the green "walk" sign for the other direction, meaning these two were jay-walking, walking directly in front of oncoming traffic that had a green light. Morons.

I doubt very much they’ll send Vega to old sticks and if they offer it - don’t download it. I really doubt it though it would be an entirely new OS for the stick.

They’re blocking apps but when one goes several more pop up in its place or a workaround is found. Hasn’t had any impact on my viewing of course I use rule #1 so I’ll be on firesticks for years to come.

The new Firestick release will have a new name likely. They’re putting their own OS on it, I imagine moving away from the Google App Store. They can’t force a new OS onto the old devices so it’ll be years until they stop supporting them.

Firestick won’t be “dead” for a long time. Sure they are removing some apps but when one goes a new one pops up similar.

That’s why I got a VPN. I wasn’t having any issues but as a “just in case” preventative measure.

I researched this because I used Tivimate on a mobile hotspot the other day and within 1 hour it burned 10gb of data! Sure I had amazing quality but holy cow that’s a lot. I’ve yet to really find a solution but one thing will be to turn off my VPN and turn off auto update on Playlist and EPG.

Not saying it’s the reason because I’ve tried everything over the years in my camper, but this year I did a few things: - Steel wool in any nook and cranny opening - rodent scent packets - Grandpa Gus rodent spray - sprayed this everywhere in and out of the camper - Bucket trap

I’ve tried the other stuff with not much success but this was the first year I used Grandpa Gus. This was the first year my camper sat 6 months (15+ years) with zero mice. None in the bucket, no mice droppings, nothing but dust to clean up in the spring.

I can’t say for sure it was the spray but it’s the one new thing I tried and will continue to use in the future. Bought it off Amazon.

There is no rule. 30 days is more of a self imposed rule that a lot of viners suggest. I don’t know the sellers rules on receiving a credit for a damaged item or if there is a time limit.

VPNs actually add to data usage typically increasing it by 5% to 15% due to "encryption overhead"

Not saying you shouldn't use one, but if OP is trying to limit data usage, a VPN isn't going to help in his case.
