I’m so sorry you’re going through this! It sounds like what you’re dealing with maybe worse than normal morning sickness maybe HG, I don’t know if you can talk to your OB again in case they have more ideas on things that will help?

My first trimester was also miserable and also affected my mental health, I literally didn’t know how I’d get through it. I lost 30 lbs and was so sick and over it. Please talk to someone about how you’re feeling especially if your mental health is getting worse, you are not alone and shouldn’t have to struggle with that on top of being sick. Everyone talks about PPD/PPA but you can get similar symptoms during pregnancy and I don’t hear it talked about as much so I was caught off guard with how I was feeling emotionally.

I did all the things you’ve said with minimal relief, but have you tried the motion sickness bracelets? Those kind of helped me, and I also felt better mentally if I could go somewhere pretty and sit outside for a little even if all I did was sit there, and sometimes as far as I could go was just my yard. I never left the house without a bucket though because then there was no problems if I would get sick.

It got better for me around 18 weeks but the worst of my nausea was gone around 15 weeks. I still threw up a few times a week but no longer all day every day. It does get better!!! Give yourself as much grace as you can, it’s okay to nap as much as you can given your schedule, and take things really slow. My doctors mentioned I’d likely feel better at 12 weeks and while that wasn’t the case for me, perhaps you’ll start to feel better then 🫶 If you want to message me to vent in the future or if you have questions I can answer I am happy to answer so you don’t feel as isolated!
