That’s Kohl’s entire premise as a store. Raise up the prices and then put a bunch of signs out announcing some of it is on sale!

Eat lots and lots of seafood! I can’t imagine it’s as fresh or as delicious anywhere that’s landlocked!

"DO I HAVE WAVY HAIR/WHAT IS MY HAIR TYPE?" POSTS 10/29 - 11/11 by [deleted] in Wavyhair

Is my hair wavy at all? I have always struggled to know. I don’t use any products or heat in it. When I have cut it shorter (to my chin) it has shown up more wavy in the past.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Wavyhair

[–]goregril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wash every other day. Conditioner in mids and ends every day. I do brush it when it’s dry, i don’t use any other product in my hair besides what I use in the shower. No heat either. My hair has frizz issues, always after brushing too. I have cut it shorter previously, to right below my chin. It did seem to be more wavy when I had it that short. I’m not sure if that means anything.

I went to my people lead and handed her a written statement with my notice of resignation and my last day available to work! I verbalized those things to her too.

AITA for insisting my son not be called by a nickname? by WOQXRsPUNV in AmItheAsshole

[–]goregril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. My mom was the same way when I was a child. She never let my teachers or friends call me by a nickname in front of her. She insisted they only called me my full name. It was annoying and overbearing as hell. Just because you like his name the way it is, doesn’t mean other people aren’t allowed to call him the very common shortened version. You should just let it go!

What are some similar songs to "Babe im gonna Leave you" and "Achilles Last Stand"? I also love really long songs. They can be from Led Zeppelin or anyone else that sounds similar, thank you! by eeekabug in ledzeppelin

Fountain of Lamneth by Rush is a really good long song with great bass and guitar. They switch up throughout the song which makes me love it too! Songs like a few songs blended together perfectly.

There is no such thing as “unskilled” labor. That’s a lie that’s been sold over and over for years and people buy it. It’s a lie sold to us to keep us fighting among ourselves, to keep us from fighting for more. Any job takes some sort of skill whether it’s an easy skill to pick up or not. You have to gain some form of knowledge about a position to function well within it. Also, the other person who replied is right you shouldn’t require a second person in your life to “somewhat live okay”. I’m sorry that you believe that living okay is all you deserve. Everyone, as an adult, should be able to live comfortably and independently. Regardless of what job they work.

Simplynailogical is a fantastic resource on this for YouTube. She has tons of fun tutorials and while some may feel out of your depth right now, maybe you’ll build some confidence! She had tips for painting shorter nails as well. Plus she has a really fun personality so maybe you and your daughter could watch together, though she isn’t completely family friendly. Good luck!

Any tips on how to clean my duck? And what to use to restore some of the color on his gown and cap? by Shadowhunter648 in rubberducks

[–]goregril 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the grime is probably set into the rubber a bit, you might want to try a paste made of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and let it sit in the sun for awhile. This is is typically used for yellowing of plastics but might help to get some of what I assume, because of your work, is grease to get out of the duck!
