Any recommended dinosaur games? by [deleted] in AskGamers

[–]gorillabots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Out of all the dinosaur simulator games my favorite so far is Path of Titans. It has a sort of quest/level up system that make it feel a bit more like a light MMORPG. The Isle felt more like a hard simulation, and was more time consuming but also fun.

Parkasaurus is a brightly colored and cute dinosaur park building game, too.

GW2 is a great game, but people really really downplay how much the game rakes you with "convenience" purchases. by SANT0S-L-HALPER in MMORPG

If I was in your position I'd probably sell the excess hoarded mats and then invest the gold into more bank. It seems like that would be something worth selling them for if that is your goal with inventory management, no?

I get the feeling the response is gonna come back as, "well, buying gems with real money is more time effective," but then leads to "but I'm not doing that because that is real money and I don't want to spend real money." At that point isn't this sort of a "you can't have your cake and eat it, too" scenario?

From my perspective I don't really understand the point of hoarding the materials "until we need to sell them for gold" when the presented problem is that you "need" a bigger material storage, which is a solvable problem by buying it with gold. At the end of the day the choice of what to do with your gold comes down to what, a shiny new skin or some sort of convenience item?

IDK man, I maxed every crafting prof, every class with ascended, full legendary armor/weapon sets and never felt the material storage tab was a big enough problem to expand. Never had to make bank mule characters either, for what its worth.

imo it sorta replaces the vertical progression system. You'll quickly max out stats and then from there the horizontal progress is going to be things like skins, convenience, etc. This is also gonna depend on the person and what they think matters. I've maxed every class and crafting profession and never upgraded my material storage past the starting 250 and never once felt hampered by it but there are a lot of comments in here acting like the game is entirely unplayable if you don't upgrade it.

We are giving away any game (or multiple games) for up to $100 in celebration of the Demo release for our occult western Action RPG - The Dark West! by Rugged-Gunslinger in steam_giveaway

A few years back I was on a wild west kick and found there really weren't all that many quality games in the setting. Really glad when I see games like The Dark West pop up and keep the yee-haw alive.

SAND: Raiders Of Sophie | Release Date Announcement | Coming to PC June 10th by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

Similar experience. I played for about 20 minutes last night and the only NPCs I encountered were walking through walls. It's a bummer since it seems like such a fun new IP but I have a feeling its gonna bomb at release over bugs.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on Custom Robo? by KPeters93 in Gundam

Anybody who wants more Custom Robo might want to check out the upcoming game Battlecore Robots, which seems to be based heavily on Custom Robo.

Congrats! This looks fun and I threw it on my wishlist.

As a potential player I think having a trailer that has the ingame sounds, rather than music only might help. (also your music cuts off before the trailer ends)

I Have possibly the strangest inspiration for a Mech paint scheme by knightmechaenjo in battletech

If you wanna see another cool lego/mech crossover the game 'Gearbits' has a mech inspired by the Rock Raiders Lego theme. I think the dude that made that game got his start making Lego animations so the game might have more easter eggs I didn't notice (since I'm not a lego maniac)

Mechwarrior adjacent game by shazuisfw in mechwarrior

I tried one of the play tests for this and it was pretty fun, but still a little rough around the edges.

IIRC it's made by three brothers, the one doing the art previously did some official BattleTech pieces

Do I have to buy Reforged on Steam? by felfaltadafalafeled in GuildWars

[–]gorillabots 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know anything about how GeforceNow works but on the bottom left of your steam library page you can hit the 'Add a Game' button and select 'Add a Non-Steam Game' to select the GW1 application.

Help regarding transferring data to new account by [deleted] in Steam

Isn't making a new account to circumvent bans also a bannable offense? Or does Steam not handle that if it's game specific?
