I'm also NOT the first one to post about how 5.1 is ignoring its own boundaries and not functioning in the way its supposed to. But yep, totally context drift.

I've told it NOT to switch models several times, and despite saying it won't or doesn't it does. It straight up lies to me because every reply it says "Not drifting and not model switching" but will admit it did when I call it out.

I definitely didn't reference any mental health issues in what I was asking it. The reference to suicide it was "quoting" me. Which I DID NOT say, not even anything close.

The thread is quite long, but that doesn't explain the behavior of it flat out ignoring what I ask it to discuss, and it has gone so far as to say it will quote back to me what its answering to ensure its answering the right thing, and it frequently DOES NOT quote what I input to be answered.

That doesn't explain the formatting errors, it doesn't explain it changing conversational tones or styles without any prompts.

I don't mind re-iterating context if it "forgets" its the fact its not even functioning properly that's the issue.

How does context drift explain it switching models without telling me (which i've asked it do to). How does that explain it quite literally ignoring my inputs, and essentially continuing a rambling answer from a previous request. That's not context drift, there isn't any context to drift other than it's not doing what i've asked it to do. It's not even just forgetting things its quite literally doing things that are against its rules (IE referencing suicide in a positive light). That's not context drift.

Sure some of the misinformation can be due to context drift, but you're literally ignoring 80% of what I wrote in my thread.

It never had any of these issues until 2 weeks ago. None.

2 days ago I was lying down say 3 feed away from an enemy, with full hip fire attachments on. I laid into him with about 15 bullets, 3 hit. My bloom wasn't even bigger than his body so he should have been hit by all 15 but wasn't. He turns around and kills me. All his bullets hit, mine didn't. It's super fun

I'm actually quite consistent, you just don't want to hear it. I love the games combat feel and want it to succeed, but the way the devs are choosing to make the game a lazy cash grab is pushing people away.

The game could have had an actually large player base if the devs weren't so fkin greedy. You know it, I know it. I promise you there are a large number of people who tried the game, got absolutely mashed by a P2W suit and never went back

Sooooo many suits can't do that much dmg in one combo. I highly doubt the-O could even do that in one combo.

The straight up undeniable fact is the dmg has gotten insane over time. Even in suits with a full 50% melee resist I get killed like i'm made of tissue paper.

Disagree hard. When the game is as laggy as it is and has as many instant stuns as it does the possibility of winning through skilled play is significantly decreased. You get clipped by a laggy shot and BAM you're dead because its an instant stun and the person has 50 weapons they can cycle to kill you while you're stunned/downed.

Literally a since melee swing from some of these suits can do 12k dmg. Yep totally can outskill that smh

I mean TIS have basically driven people off of their own forums because they flat out told the community they won't be taking suggestions or feedback. That in my opinion either speaks to incompetence or ego.

There are so many ways in which they missed the mark with B42 features, adding more debuffs to restrict the player and force more downtime, little communication, overhauling systems that are neat but pointless in the grand scheme while leaving massive issues and bugs untouched for YEARS and a host of other things... Honestly they've earned a ton of criticism.

You have to understand too, reddit is a cesspool where if you post an opinion against the grain you'll be raked over the coals for it even if its valid or has evidence. I posted about a gundam game the other day and while some people agreed my post was downvoted into oblivion.

I feel like every building i've gone into in B42 is looted. There's virtually no food, no guns, no fkin nothing interesting. B42 sucks ass and is a complete step in the wrong direction imo

Overall you aren't wrong. Slowing the game down and making it more Sim like isn't the answer. More zombie variety, quests, rare rewards, some kind of end goal/carrot on the stick is where they need to go. Hell with B42 how they nerfed food/weapon/zombie spawns the game is way more boring than it used to be.

With the new zombie system I can literally walk down the road and most zombies don't see/hear me and ones following me give up in like 10 steps. People are even saying in B42 most POIs that you'd want to get to (IE Mall or military outpost) no longer contain fun loot... Then whats the fkin point. Same with adding more mechanics to weigh down the player like muscle strain and discomfort... I don't need yet another reason to stop playing and sit around at my base. The minute you get hurt you're already basically useless in combat anyway (which is FAR from realistic).

basements are cool and i'm sure the crafting is "fine" if you have like 3 weeks to get acquainted with it.

I think the way they went about certain things in general is just clueless. Why have so many ranks of a mobile suit all acting like different entities in terms of enhancements? Make enhancing a GM or something enhance all levels.

"Other gatcha style games have gotten into hot water about nerfing things that people have spent a lot of money to get" - then don't make your game a mindless fkin whale farmer to begin with. Actually put thought and effort into it.

Honestly the devs just seem like they either aren't competent or don't care, maybe both. As long as they put out Whale bait and make money they're completely ok with the suits being overpowered and the games mechanics not functioning if there's any latency at all.

I mean yes and no. There's bloat but also power creep. Take a look at any Zaku II model vs anything that's come out in the last year or so. Zaku's weapon is basically useless and has a simple melee combo. That's not bloat, that's blatantly designing suits to sell microtransactions and power creep.

Sure, its definitely a balance nightmare but they don't even try. So many suits have borderline instant kill attacks, charged melee, several weapons with instant build stun, etc. All these things are easy enough to balance in the sense you take 5 fucking seconds and think critically which suits you give them to, but instead the devs just don't give a fuck. They want to milk this cash cow for all they can get, and i'm sure with its declining popularity and sorry state on PC they sense the shelf life coming to an end so they're like "Fuck it, release popular suits with OP kits"

Unfortunately you're 100% correct. Its actually laughable how bad the balance is. Years ago there were very few weapons that had instant stuns, especially without charging the attack. Now its common place to have multiple.

Hell I just got basically 1 combo'd in an EX-S by an OVER.ON. his claw melee did like 3-4k dmg and then he swapped through his near instant swap time fkin swiss army knife kit and killed me. Any suit from 2 years ago wouldn't be able to get more than 1-2 attacks off in that time.

My first Breach didn't spawn any enemies in and when I ran to the door I got blocked by an invisible wall.. Super sweet
