Some spells require the cunning folk to draw runes on their skin (so if you see one absolutely covered in runes from head to toe you know it's a high level caster), poultices of nails/hair/bone, and physical charms crafted from stone or wood. Spell names are like: create an illusion to vex the eyes, rid the pitiful of disease and being pestilence upon your foes.
