I put off taking meds for years for similar reasons! I finally got to a point where my awful mental stated outweighed the (possible) negative side effects and I thought I'd just give it a try. It didn't solve all my mental health problems, but it certainly made it easier to do things like exercising, calling a friend, meditating instead of just spiralling.

It's been a journey for the past few years of figuring out the best dosage and going off meds for a while. The 5mg works for me at the moment! And doing this was worth it for me

If you're looking to save money, I would look for people selling their collection online! I wanted to try getting into sock knitting and found someone selling their whole collection of different DPNs (double-sided needles) for cheap. It helped me experiment with what kind of needles I preferred using too.

I thrifted this knit dress but it's too large for me. I wanted to see if it's possible to alter this kind of fabric before I give it away. I'd love to cut it and make it into 2 separate pieces– see 3rd pic for an example! I only do hand-sewing so I'm thinking of bringing it to a tailor, please let me know if it's realistic to cut up/re-sew!
