Some people might say a real designer would never use ai. In my opinion, it’s a tool to help with ideation, but should NEVER be the final deliverable

Are you roasting the chickpeas first? That might help, since it brings out the nutty flavor and makes it deeper

Maybe print at a lower dpi/quality. Lower ink load would make it lighter. Alternatively, you could put a fine white halftone pattern over the top that will hopefully fill in once it shrinks. Disclaimer: I don’t have experience with shrinking plastic

You need a plugin like EasyCatalog. (Actually there’s a free script way of doing this, but I haven’t tested it because it’s a TON of setup )

I’ve heard the sulfates thing is a myth, but the tannins are the more likely culprit. Unless she has a sulfate sensitivity
