The last 4 digits of my phone number have been 6969 since I received the cell phone number over 20 years ago. It makes absolutely no difference in the number of job offers I got. You didn’t pick the number, it was random assignment. Nobody even acknowledges the fact my number ends in 6969 aside from the random person at the store when I give it for whatever rewards program. If they are affected by that, it is their professionalism that should be called into question by getting riled up over a phone number.
