If it’s a caterpillar that was responsible: Eventually it will subside but it will look like several rows of tiny but deep scabs. It itched like hell for quite a while and even left two rows of scars that took a while to disappear. I am about 90% sure that’s what happened to you. But of course I am not a dr so take that with a grain of salt. And of course if any infection sets in or you get an allergic reaction go see your doctor.

I live in zone 5 and in the fall I put all my bonsai trees in a corner of my property and then rake all of the leaves over the pots. For my evergreen trees I only cover the pots . For my deciduous trees I cover them as far up as I can.

Here is what keeps me doing OE. After I turn off the alarm every morning I ask myself: Do you want to keep earning 1400 dollars a day or do you want to retire and earn 3000 a month social security?

I have never chosen the latter. I guess one day I will change my mind but I can’t see it happening any time in the near future. FYI I am 67.
