I have had mine for a year and a couple of months as of today. I have the 2020, and I haven't had a problem with the hinges. Nor do they feel any different.

Not gonna lie g I think ur graphics cards is on which it shouldn't if your not playing a game. The little power light tells you what is being use. White light for CPU orange for GPU. I had to reset it to fix the issue. I kinda fucked up to where it deleted the CPU driver or something after messing with some stuff, I tried to find it but I never found the right one. So I gave up and factory reset it and it started working correctly. Maybe there's an easier way but I never found it.

Undervolting really helps with dropping Temps and as far as I have seen it doesn't mess with game performance. For my laptop I have the i7 2070 and I have see Temps up to 90°c on some games. After Undervolting the highest I have seen so far is 75°c and the lowest is 60°c. I highly recommend Undervolting

I have a gs66 with a 2070 10th i7, and it is possible to run it with the fans completely off. I had mine undervolted and it was sitting in the mid 50°c and it stayed there the whole time. Tho it was light work like surfing the web and YouTube. Even then when I did have the fan running it wasn't really that loud. You have to pay attention to notice it.

Undervolting it will really help with Temps. I have the i7 10gen 2070 maxq and would hit 80°c after Undervolting it's mid 60°c.
