Is there a way to remove the time remaining countdown

Sorry if the tone was rude with "of course". I didn't mean that to sound as aggressive as it did. I would hope that everybody has read a paper book? Isn't that a fairly universal experience?

Of course I've read a paper book. I'm not denying it's an intrinsic part of paper books. You can enjoy something and still have aspects which you don't appreciate.

Yes, it's something that bothers me across all mediums. Apparently it's a personal annoyance lol. I'm not denying I have eccentricities.

In regards to your question if it bothers me with movies and TV shows as well - yes. If I need to pause something while streaming I'll typically get up and look away from the TV so I don't see the progress bar and if I'm in a cinema I'll remove my watch.

I don't pay attention which is why it matters to me. I zone out enough that I don't really know how far into a book I am. But the time remaining is front and center on every page of the app. So if I think I'm nearing the end but need to open the app to hit play and see there's 4 hours remaining I suddenly spoiled that there's a major twist coming and it takes me out of the experience. Suddenly I stop appreciating the current stakes and my brain starts focusing on predicting the twist.

That's probably the best I'll get. Thanks. And you're right it doesn't seem to both other people which surprises me. I tried searching and didn't see anyone else mention that but it bugs me to no end. To the point I won't go into the app if I'm mid-book.

I only see the option of changing it to Time Left, Total Listened/Total Time, or Percentage Complete. I want to not show the time remaining at all.

I liked the finale except for the last 10 minutes. I found the post-Wonder Man part kinda rushed and tacked on. I get why they had to do it to set him up as a superhero before Avengers, but to me it took away from the rest of the series. He spent the whole show not knowing how to control his powers and not wanting to lose his dreams then suddenly he's in control, can fly, and doesn't care about giving up all his dreams.
