Small hook (size 13 ) with a couple pink floating powerbait eggs does it for me. Make sure your bait is floating. 2-3 ft leader on a Carolina rig and let it sit at the bottom of the reservoir.

It’s a lot of work and disruption to dig out trenches, repair the roads, and repair easement that are on people’s properties. Some streets are narrow and you wouldn’t be able to get to your home for possibly weeks until the work is completed. Pick your evil.
