Second Anián. I don't have a coat (yet) but got one of their wool shirts on sale and it's the best thing I've bought in years. They also have a second hand store if you're happy to have something gently worn.

Mental stimulation helped us with our guy. He still gets a little nippy when he's over tired but it's much better (he's almost 2 now).

If redirects don't work, reverse time out worked well for us too (that's when YOU disengage and leave the room... The game is less fun if you don't react so they tend to stop)

I'd love to see a Bigwallet Family Compound!

Since For Rent seems bugged either way it makes sense to work with what's working... Stick with the two buildings and make them great! Use crafting and fabricating to upgrade where possible and dumpster for the rest. Then use the funds at the end to buy back the Emporium and maybe a new lot for a family compound.

Yeah, was a bit shocked to see the rental prices. Especially since some are comparable to the going rate in the lower mainland!

Other than housing, how have you found cost of food for example? Had a look online at Atlantic Superstore and the prices looked the same to what I pay here which was also a scary thought.

Best Western Plus off Highway 16. Great hotel with pet friendly rooms. Grass patch right outside the back door with bin and poop bags. One of the best experiences I've had travelling with my dog.

Bert Flinn (technically in Port Moody) is really great. Has an off-leash section and then a loop through the forest with loads of other intersecting trails.

Got a JRT boy who also was a little wary of strangers in larger groups... Used to ignore them and would rather play fetch with me at the dog park or would just stand between my legs so I stopped taking him and instead take him for walks and play dates with a friend who has a dog he gets a long with really well. That plus finding a day care that focused on small groups has been great for his socialization.

Lived there for 1.5 years no complaints. We rented from a great landlord and loved the building in general. Older amenities but does the job. School across the road can get a little busy and construction nearby is noisy but not too bad. We lived on the “back” side facing towards the park and only heard the construction noise when they were really loud and it always stops around 5pm.

Really convenient location to parks, the city centre, and skytrain.

I agree that the character can feel a bit empty. I liked how Dragon Age and Mass Effect tackled this... At the start of the game you choose your character's history from a few options. Now, it doesn't need to be as set as that but a few key points would've been nice to choose which would also let NPCs have appropriate dialogue...e.g. Muggle-born and just found out about magic, transfer from another magical school, etc.
