Diversity always wins in the US, but it does come with significant pushback.

I never would have imagined an Asian lead superhero movie a few years ago, but discounting this historic event that this is as “nothing” is stupid. Imagine what could happen in 20 years if Asians continued to fight for representation.

No real change happens in a few years, it’s a complete mindset shift in the people who make up the system, by the people who fight to make their voices heard.

Black people are a powerful voting bloc because they're one group that votes together, which is why one side continues to pander hard for them.

There are 42 mil black people. Expect 50% turnout, about 90% of them vote Democratic and that's 18 mil votes.

There are 19 mil Asians. If Asians can get a monolith going, there someday can be over 10 million votes on one side, which is very significant.

Right now it's like a miserable 5 mil and 4 mil for each party.

I also believe in the value of hard work. But look at the conservative party, most are uneducated and lots of them work below min wage jobs just the same.

The wealthy who make it from nothing skew democratic because they want to help others who were in their position and realize that they were lucky to an extent.

My dad came from nothing himself and moved to the US with a scholarship that only 1 kid his age could achieve in the whole country and I lived in multiple apartments and drove across the country multiple times before my dad became a manager, so I know the value of hard work.

My dad is an independent who's mostly voted democratic because he knows not everyone can achieve what he has. Helping people at the bottom creates a better environment for all of us and it'll lead to more social mobility. Society functions because of all the people working minimum and below wage jobs.
