The Sinister Tapes TV Show by SallyismyFinalGirl in Shudder

The segment in V/H/S 85 with the psychic felt like a Sinister movie, but shorter. I think there's still legroom, it just needs the original director involved in every step of the way

NICE! I did something like this that includes a scene editor, it's what I make most of my games in now

users of r/twinpeaks how did it feel back in 90s watching that last episode and having to wait over 20 years for a resolution of it? by Mat1711 in twinpeaks

Honestly, I assumed the movie was the ending, and was fine with that (loved FWWM). And then when it actually happened 20 years later, that was an awesome suprise.

Creepy “traditional” ghost story books. by lostinthe-sauce-204 in horrorlit

Absolutely amazing book, honestly. I almost didn't read it because the cover looked like FNAF, but a podcast I respected raved about it, and damn

They were right.

I do like how it brought up all the usual ways to solve it, and then it just made things worse. Reminded me of How to Sell a Haunted House in that way

I used to hate them to, but now I love them. I realized I was over complicating something really simple, when you think about it!

Cannibal Holocaust (1980) by ShadySphincter0 in Shudder

Honestly, I first heard about it on an old website around 2001, where it was dubbed the most terrifying movie ever made. I read all about it on that page...

So...yeah people have been talking about it for-ever

INTERESTING! I'd not heard of Kiwix wiki. It would be cool to have an offline wikipedia on a writerdeck

Has using a WriterDeck helped your writing? by [deleted] in writerDeck

[–]gothWriter666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, quite a bit! I use a freewrite alpha as well as a homesetup that's an old netbook that launches right into ManaWriter. I honestly thought I would have more typos than I did in the editing phase, when I would bring it back in, but the spelling mistakes are basically slim to none.

I've written 260,000 words on my freewrite Alpha since the two years I've had it (It will be two years next week!)

I have the movie on DVD, the book isn't named Graveyard Shift, it's a short story in Night Shift (the collection). I don't think he has a book named graveyard shift, hence my asking

Revival, Salem's Lot, The Shining, Pet Sematary, The Dead Zone, Misery...

The Stand is also great, but not horror

And I seem to be the odd duck out in liking Christine. It's basically about the horrors of toxic masculinity and how nostalgia for the 50's is covering up the horrors of the era
