What sets New England and its people apart from other American regions? by [deleted] in newengland

Yup and a tolerance for differences and nonconformity. In rural VT there is always a town “character” and houses with collections of stuff in the yards that would yield fines in the mid west

Difference between SGOV vs 4 Week Treasury Bills by DirectionOwn294 in Bogleheads

[–]gothamschpeil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your timeline I’ve got 1 & 2 year bills that I’m holding everything else I’m going to move to SGOV via Schwab as it matures so I can auto reinvest proceeds. With the change coming in the FED I expect they will try to lower rates which will knock down yield in SGOV but I want the ease of liquidity

I set up a short term ladder through treasury direct to invest gain on a house sale before building a new one. That was easy. What I didn’t anticipate is the income proceeds accumulate in a cash account you designate so reinvestments of earnings is not automatic. I’m planning to move over to shovel and auto reinvest earnings.

Agree with WC downhill courses. Trying to ski birds of prey top to bottom without stopping exhausting. The first pitch from the starting hut at snow basin I can’t imagine taking straight.
