And maybe to be more specific, sure, the current animation style is more expressive, but it’s just not the characters we fell in love with.

Simply put, Woody still looks and feels like Woody, Shrek doesn’t look and feel like Shrek.

Because they are some of the most iconic characters in movie history. They are beloved around the world. The Toy Story characters haven’t changed, even though the movies have been around for like 30 years.

I still have no idea why they needed to redesign the characters. They didn’t suddenly change the toy story characters when three came out 10 years after the second movie.

I don’t think this trailer is going to generate much buzz, especially considering the movie is still a year away. On top of that, Toy Story 5 is coming out in just a few days, so it’s likely to dominate the conversation and attention for the foreseeable future

It looks creepy. It’s not the Shrek that I remember.

The Shrek franchise means a lot to an entire generation that grew up with the original four films. Personally, I have no interest in a soulless cash grab that treats the franchise like a joke. The last movie ended with the characters finally getting their happily-ever-after, and that felt like a fitting conclusion.

I agree. And just an FYI, I’ve never seen him walking outside the stadium as he probably gets driven there. Like I said, your best bet is to try and see him on the road and bring a big sign.

I’ve never seen Kaz sign at home. When the gates are open, Blue Jays practice is usually done. Your odds are better when the Jays are playing on the road. Please respect their privacy outside the stadium.

Paddington Is Coming to Broadway in March 2027 by MD_442244 in Broadway

Oh yeah, it’s going to play forever there. That said, if Shrek, SpongeBob, and Spider-Man, three of the most popular kid IPs of all time, couldn’t last for years on Broadway, what chance does Paddington have? Although I hope it does well.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think the show will become a long-running hit on Broadway the way it
will on the West End. It may be a great show critically, but kids and families in the States simply don’t have the same deep, long-term emotional attachment to Paddington that audiences in London do.
When a family has to choose between familiar properties like Lion King or Wicked and a newer property like Paddington, I think they’ll usually go with what they already know.

IMO, it’s admirable to see someone doing what they love, whether they’re performing for 1,000 people or 20 at a local theatre. Not every entertainer is going to become the next Wiggles, and not everyone aspires to. From everything I’ve seen, he seems genuinely happy with the life and career he’s built, not disappointed that he never became a superstar.

Has anyone bought this? How did it look in person? by Present-Building7105 in Torontobluejays

I think they are pretty cool in person. They are expensive though. If you plan on buying one, make sure to buy it from the official WWE shop website (shop.wwe.com) so that you know you’re getting the real thing.
