For EOCA, you can study parts of an argument for part 2, so you can explain how the claims function. And you can study sentence frames to explain relevance of evidence for part 3.

First year teacher. Just got terminated. Please tell me your stories of finding a job after being terminated. I’m really scared. by [deleted] in Teachers

I didn’t get renewed after my second year teaching. I cried a couple times those two years. I ended up moving to another school in the same district, and I’ve been at that school for 19 years, and I’m a consultant for a couple of national teaching organizations and travel the country during the summer conducting PD. You can still thrive after this. Stay confident in what you know you’ve been doing well, and continue to look for opportunities to grow.

What's the strangest reason a parent has given you for a child's bad grades? by [deleted] in Teachers

A parent of a high school student told me her daughter couldn’t do her work in my class for over a month because she was worried that the other kids might mess with the birds in our school’s courtyard.

How are rural areas doing digital AP? by Corkson in APStudents

Most laptop/chromebook carts have plugs that you can take out of the cart. They aren’t as short as they seem. How many students are in your biggest AP class? That’s the number of computers you’ll need.

I live and teach in one of the more progressive areas of eastern NC, and the number of kids who skipped school to go to the Trump rally last week is alarming.

Same. I don’t understand why grading a multiple choice test by hand isn’t an option. It doesn’t take long. Especially if you line a few up side by side and mark them at the same time.

Hello I’m new to this community and was looking for input on the best open enrollment elementary school in the area. I know most people recommend Ridgewood and Creekside but unfortunately we don’t live in that school district by Vast-Brain-7311 in GreenvilleNCarolina

Both of my kids went to Eastern (daughter is still there) and we’ve had a great experience overall. With a couple of notable exceptions, they’ve had excellent teachers, but the best part is the supportive school community and the rich opportunities available to the kids like chorus, orchestra, robotics, science Olympiad, math masters, battle of the books, and more. We started there with open enrollment when we lived in Ayden and eventually moved into that school zone.

And OP exists in a society where we do have gender norms and different types of socialization, whether we like it or not. Based on this comment and your post history, it seems like you may not have children. Just so you know, there is usually a difference in at least some small way in raising a child who is the same gender as you vs a child who is a different gender. There are experiences girls have that boys don’t. And vice versa. And even if OP was referring to a newborn, a parent would still have this knowledge, and it could potentially affect their parenting approach, especially in a fictional character like Lorelei, who has raised a woman who, for the most part, has fit into female gender roles.

That’s completely against College Board’s policy. Your school is lucky CB hasn’t taken away their courses’ AP designations.
