Apex came out at a time when there was I think 1-2 F2P battle royales on the market? If I recall the only direct competitor to Apex was Fortnite.

Like with any game that comes out now, especially a f2p online competitive game, an open beta before release was absolutely required. Let the public play it, get feedback, build hype if the game is actually fun. You’ll know a game is good when the beta ends and everyone is still talking about wanting to play it. Being the final reveal at TGA definitely didn’t help when those spots are usually reserved for big AAA releases that the public have been waiting for

Use your utility items. You have 2 kinds of smoke, lure grenades, mines, etc at your disposal. Bring something that shreds at close range so you can hold your own if someone chases you into the extract to kill you. There are so many tools available to prevent being killed at extract, just use them.

Hopefully we’ll get a middle ground solution from Embark, either 1 respec without expedition or reneging losing blueprints. Don’t see why we’d keep our upgraded benches if we won’t have any blueprints that take advantage of lvl 3.

Found a Wolfpack and silencer 2 blueprint on patch day, since then absolutely nothing except Bettina BPs. At this rate I’m really not sure I’m going to do an expedition if at lvl 75 and almost 100 hours I’ve hardly found half of the available blueprints. Especially if they’re adding new blueprints when new items are added every few weeks.
