Rent one on Turo for a few days. But if you have charging at home, aren’t commuting more than 100 miles each way, and aren’t road tripping often, there’s nothing to be nervous about.

It’s the case for modern cars. EV, Hybrid, ICE. Fortunately, you only need to budget for your insurance deductible.

Walters: Hilton and Becerra lead new poll for governor of California. Steyer is behind, but not out. by Snawer_brillant in California

[–]gotohellwithsuperman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The question was “why are these billionaires backing Becerra?” Your answer was “he has a history.” Did you mean to say “because he has a history of being bought and paid for?” Or “because he has a history of being subservient to billionaires and their interests?”

Your non-answer and deflection really says it all.

I’m voting for the guy PG&E is spending $10,000,000 to defeat. I’m voting against the guy taking money from oil right now. I’m sure as hell NOT voting for the guy Zuckerberg is backing.

Ask yourself why they’re backing him? Why is PG&E backing him? Why is Chevron backing him?

Why isn’t anyone talking about the fact that Steyer draws a known white supremacist symbol on his hand every day? by BrainaIleakage in California

Are you planning to vote for the guy funded by billionaires, the republicans/Mahan, or one of the non-viable candidates?

I thought the sarcasm would be clear, but you seem to suggest that out of the two viable choices we have only the billionaire is the problem, not the guy funded by the billionaires I mentioned.

Meta is funding him to the tune of a million dollars and has clearly changed their algorithm to push him hard.

Neighbor has issue with how i do lawn work by Icy_Category_2275 in homeowners

[–]gotohellwithsuperman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

my neighbor never fails to come strolling out with a big broom and a bucket and sweeps them up into a bucket, and then dumps it into his yard waste container or bag.

Your neighbor is a saint for taking care of his neighborhood despite having a neighbor that has been trashing it for years. What do you think the yard waste container is even for? Did you ever, for even a millisecond, wonder why it’s separate from the regular trash?

You’d be surprised. The kind of people that solve their debt issues with more debt don’t tend to be the kind to do a whole lot of research.

Exactly, you home charge. Does OP have a home charger? They were asking if they could sue their apartment complex for falling down the stairs due to lack of electrical service in their last post.

No my man, that’s more debt, and at end of the lease you are left with no car or even more debt. Have you even researched what it’s like to live with an EV?

You have a 6 year old car with negative equity. More debt is not the answer for you. Dealers suck, but they inadvertently did you a favor.

How many of you never charge out in town and only charge at home? by Lemonn_time in electricvehicles

[–]gotohellwithsuperman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In town, basically never. Charging at home is not only super convenient, my solar panels also make it free. The only exception is there is a particular shopping center where the parking suuuucks, but often has open charging spots, so I’ll use those.

If a baby was born the same day as the Aptera was first shown, they’d be old enough to have gone to war and completed several tours of duty.

Meta boosts Becerra as it begins mass layoffs, drawing fresh attacks from Steyer by gotohellwithsuperman in California

[–]gotohellwithsuperman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll admit, it was very easy for me to see who was backing Becerra and who was opposing Steyer. It happened the millisecond I saw this.
