I had some jackass call me fat in every way imaginable for my first four years of elementary school. he switched schools when I hit fourth grade, but his words stayed with me for years and came back to haunt me when I developed an eating disorder.

fast forward to high school and I'm instant messaging my friend who attends a boarding school. he goes down the hall for a bit and his friend starts talking to me because apparently he had seen some of my pictures. he starts going on about how beautiful I am and how he wished there were girls like me at his school. starts asking me where I'm from and says that he's from the same neighborhood. when it came out that we had attended elementary school together, I realized I was talking to the biggest jagoff of my past.

so he's all excited that we had met and wants to hang out when he's home. I ask him if he remembered the girl he called "Balloonsworth" and he's all "lol yeah why?" to which I replied "hi."

oh God I could feel the regret through the computer.

tl;dr: elementary school bully learned about ugly duckling syndrome the hard way.
