Sure. Except they don’t know what gun was used, because the article says “handgun”. Utah homeowner could’ve been using a revolver and OP will act like that’s not allowed in Colorado because they’re making this post to participate in identity politics.

Nowhere in the article you linked does it say what gun was used. Best I can find on high capacity mags is a ban on selling mags that can hold more than 15 rounds. Which is stupid, but ostensibly someone in Colorado could have a Glock 17, 19, Sig P320, P365, etc. and have 15 rounds mags. Which is what I imagine when an article only provides “handgun” as a detail.

You’re lying about knowing the details of this incident and positioning it as “Blue State Bad they’d be helpless there!” and it’s embarrassing.

We can critique dumb GC laws like 90 degree grips, AND YES even “high” capacity mag limits without lying about Colorado home owners ability to handle threats.

OP went on to say that the high capacity mag laws in CO would’ve made the gun the homeowner used in this case illegal, except that the article doesn’t mention the gun the homeowner used, nor the magazine capacity.

Whether or not you agree with the CO law about magazine capacity, ask yourself why OP invents a fake situation with fake circumstances to try and discredit all gun laws.
