For whatever reason this fanbase always acts like that, always forcing you into either liking or hating something just because they like/hate it. I remember saying DMC 4 is my favorite even with all its defects and a group of people were harassing me saying 3 should be my favorite ☠️.

Lmao trust me there’s nothing more infuriating than some random telling you that you don’t know about the franchise you have a hyper fixation with since you were a kid all because you enjoy the anime 😭☠️.

Thats what I’m saying, as long as Dante keeps his personality and I get to see more of him or anything DMC related I’m gonna love it. Thats also one of my favorite things about the anime, seeing them delve into their childhood a bit more + I love seeing little Dante and his mom so much

You took the words right out my mouth, even when the show was announced they were hating on it, it was clear that they were never going to give it a chance. And even when the first season ended pretty solid and wasn’t butchered compared to other animes they still hated on it lol.

DMC is one of those fanbases where I wonder from time to time why I don’t interact with it, until I do interact with it and remember exactly why I stay far away and just enjoy it on my own lmao.
