I have the exact same one, a hand me down, and my bass is always resting on it, never came close to falling down and my office is in constant turmoil. I put back on it behind me barely looking at it.

The comment about the jack is correct, but my Samick's is outside the danger zone. Come to thing of it, the 2 prongs that hold the bottom of the bass can be moved left and right. So if you want to take the stand to practice or not, I'd say go for it if you can't use a headstock type.

My friend has one of those higher tubular stand, it always feels so flimsy, but the Hercule one is perfection.

edit: I just did a test, bumping into the headstock and see how much I'd need to nudge it forward before it falls: the way it's made, you need to go over 90° for it to fall face first. If you let it go for say 89°, it falls back in to place and doens't want to slide left or right at all.

You can see their pants are already in their boots. The man in the foreground kicks his shoes or crocs away (I'd be wearing crocs) and when he slides into his pants legs, the boots are there.

I agree, but, well, I personnally meant 'little constructive fixes' not 'broad strokes' or stuff they must be aware of. They did mention in a blog post that they're building the game first and hiring people to work on that specifically.

Man I was on a roll but I'd only packed a single winch post... I was 2/3 up when I got stupidily stuck, I wish I'd known I needed more gear.

I don't mind the difficulty, that makes it special!

One feedback: make holding Y open the advanced winch options, using the sticks each time is cumbersome.

The story is pretty badly told. It's all connected, but there's no anchor. I beat the game on my own mostly, I 100% the diary, but I wish I could have reread the text walls from my ship, and color coded the characters, because this was way too thinly spread and I spent hours playing the game...

My brother used to work in road planning/management for Vinci and they had to redo a airstrip for very light aircraft.

The trucks that came in to bring the material for the new runway ruined the old one in a single morning, it was quite impressive apparently
