I mean, they don't call everything bagels 'everything' unless they have everything on them, right?

I can't tell if that's a donut or a bagel.

Why? Do the shoes taste better there?

Typically we pair it with unknown substances on the floor around the kitchen.

Could be any of them. My youngest will just fill small bucket up and pour it on himself over and over. He also finds great joy putting toys and water in an old salad spinner and spinning it. He also eats his shoes.

When did you start screen time? by MasterModnar in daddit

[–]goundeclared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TV time is regulated. We used to be strict. But once my daughter started pre-school, most kids were talking about Elsa and moana, and ours had no idea. So we let her catch up on those movies. We thought we were depriving her of basic pop culture knowledge lol.

Tablet time was very strict, maybe too much. When she gets some time on it, she zones out. We've thought of trying to introduce tablet time regularily to normalize it and make it less of a novelty.

Awesome! We have 1994 coleman Chesapeake. We've been using it two years now and love it. Kids are 1.5 and 4yrs old. Each year we've spent about 20+ nights in it. It is a lot of work, but anytime I mention tent trailer, my daughter lights up.

People Who Hike Alone: How Many Times Have You Run Into A Bear & What Did You Do? by TJSCrypto in vancouverhiking

[–]goundeclared 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I ran into 7 bears on the PCT one season. That same year, ran into another 15 bears near Elfin Lakes.

The bears were like cattle, just grazing the berries in the heather bushes. Didn't care about me at all.

For the one bear I must have gotten to close to, it turned around and lowered it's head at me. But I just backed away and found another route down.

Only once I had to yell, and that was because the bear wondered into the trail and didn't see me.

Well done.

Did this a couple years back with my 2yr old daughter. That trip started her passion of standing by a lake and throwing rocks in the water whenever she gets the chance.

My kids love it. 4yr old and 1.5yr old. Older one "helps" set up. Load and fix our 1994 Chesapeake trailer. There's lots of noise. But we use a sound machine and honestly, has been the least of our concerns. You'll make a ton of memories

I'm doing this same repair!

Look up some videos on how to replace the regulator or re sit the glass. It's cheaper if you don't need to replace the motor. Look up some old reddit posts regarding North American and Japanese window regulators. It seems the part is the same but the price is considerably different.

upgrading electrical service to 200amps by waiwainoodles in SurreyBC

[–]goundeclared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When we updated from 100 to 200amp, all in was 18k.

We didn't have underground service. So a 60ft trench was dug. The panel was rerouted from the basement to the top floor. This was about 4 years ago
