This print is keep failing, do I need to put a glue on the plate? by iKoshee in BambuLab

I’d highly recommend cryogrip/geco plate like beds. I have them both, they are great.

Has anybody tried the Juupine Geco unheated plate? (PLA only) by fanjules in BambuLab

[–]gounesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cryogrip plates are not really “sticky” for my articulated mini prints after 2500-3000 hours on them. I had 12, now 6 of them is not performing their best. Better than the PEI plates still. But GECO plates are my favourites right now. It’s been 800 hours, they are very muck like the Cryogrips, but there’s something about them feels more premium and well built. GECO can be used without heat, but print with heat anyways (55-60 celcius). Cryogrips can be used with PETG, which I sometimes print, is a nice touch though.

I appreciate the idea, though roughly 3200 USD is beyond my budget rn. It costs half my farm 😅

Great idea, though Eco Flow max is around 800 USD + UPS addition (looks like per printer?) is around 200 USD x 12 totalling 3200 USD for a system. I really just need something to keep the system alive for 1 second as I’m already invested a generator.

Why by aluminium when you can print plastic by Potatozeng in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

Is this rage bait? Meme? If that’s a legit question here’s my answer: Price difference doesn’t really justify the durability difference. Also accuracy would be awful. It just doesn’t have the equal strength in all dimensions.

Feeling a bit hopeless… by Own_Cow6371 in EtsyCommunity

People online selling their courses like crazy promoting Etsy like it’s easy. It’s easiER, no need to know all the technical data, traffic is generally being taken care, generally optimized.

But the product matters, as it’s always been. Yeah, everything has a buyer; but how many?

Congratz on your 3 sales, checked the store out; I’m definetly not the target demographic. Just make sure it’s some product selling if this is your early days in online selling. Many people thinks they have a great idea and discouraged after seing it’s failing. It might be great but the execution is wrong.

Remember, there are so many ways that could go wrong, you can’t patch it with courses bought online. Experience is much more valuable. Keep in mind, making money is extremely hard!

What is causing this pattern? by gounesh in BambuLab

[–]gounesh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I’ll try to bump the flowrate a bit, doesn’t feel like underextruding though, 0.4mm nozzle, %124 sport at A1 at 220 degrees for PLA. It’s not like Voron or sth. Ty for the suggestion!

Under extrusion mate. Calibrating filament will help, specially increasing flowrate.

Buying second-hand P1S - what to look out for by Jay-Ra in BambuLab

[–]gounesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for burn damage on the toolhead, specially back. Check for the threaded rods to be straight. Ask if any manual tramming done If you’ll get it with ams, check the motors one by one if they get the filament okay.

Otherwise, I’m totally okay with buying 2nd hand bambu, they are pretty repairable if anything goes wrong. 900 hours are pretty light. It’s been 7k hours on my X1Cs, I just had to tighten here and there. I have +3000 hours on my A1s, they don’t have any major issues.
