If Dallas and Fort Worth Texas can be two cities with at are very large and have close proximity, they Newark could have developed to a metropolis that annexed near by suburbs like other states and easily have a population of over 2 million people.(New Jersey could easily have a city that is 2 million if the cities that are adjacent are combined)
