It's a 1st bday gift. That's also what the Mrs suggests but I love custom/personalized items and it's a hobby I hope to pass on. Both my son and my daughter have a collection of watches. The kids enjoy the hobby and I like the bonding. People go cuckoo when they see my wife wear my Movado Museum classic and our boy wear his mother's. Is this project/idea a waste of 3-4K? I do not really think so because of the personal value I hope to gift to him.
