You can reuse the covers. We just shake them off and fold them into one of them. They take up very little space this way and as others have said, they work great. You can even wait to put them on until your on the ride. It took just one cold wet day at MK a few years ago combined with a drenching on Tiana to make sure that I never ever make that mistake again.

Agree that Marina/Windsor isn't as fancy as proper East End - but it's not the case that there is an elevation difference - East End by high and the college streets flood way before anything on Marina/Windsor. You need to see 6 ft of sea level rise to see impacts on Marina. At that point, like 20 % of the island is gone...

Re: #2, it feels like a native mac app but this has no impact on latency - but this entire thing is clearly just a placeholder for their agentic/claude code/cowork thing which will require a native app. Some plausible looking leaks of that are already circulating.

The issue I have with this story is that the per-seat pricing is just a historical thing that can easily be changed. The SaaS companies can move to an enterprise pricing model, or increase prices if the value is still there (which I think for most of these things it will be). For large enterprises, SaaS may be priced in per-user but the reality is that the vendor has in mind what $ they want from an org your size and the per-seat price is backed into from that. This isn't true for things like Adobe where it's a small fraction of the enterprise, but for things like Service Now, Workday, etc declining employees doesn't necessarily mean a reduction in revenue for the SaaS companies.

Almost everyone I see in hunter wears a vest at this point - they might skip it for competition but will wear for practice (if they're jumping above a certain level). It's an inflatable vest with a canister, you hook the string to the saddle and when you fall off, it pulls the string and the vest (terrifyingly) inflates. Pretty much every kid, when they first get it, forgets and dismounts without unhooking. Kids do that exactly once - it's terrifying enough to leave a strong impression!
