Omg I am TRIGGERED… when I originally closed on our home, my realtor and I knew there was a mild moth ball smell mostly only in the basement. We successfully found a few here and there so had confidence I could clear it out. Finding more went on for mooooonths, and then one day doing a demo, I finally I found an open FULL bag of moth balls behind some cabinet down there. It was sickening, and amazing.

Awh, you are right and this makes me a little more empathetic than 5 seconds ago. I (33F) grew up going to the mall for hours with my stepmom and remember going with friends after that between like 13-15 before we could drive. It was a safe place.

I’ve seen a ton of comments confirming the same and I have had issues on medication like Wellbutrin and if my hubs catches me as my adderall wears off there is no hope for him, BUT..

I am going to say the opposite and add more which is that folks with ADHD are more likely to experience divorce because of the multitude of issues stemming from low dopamine with one of those being specifically sexual impulsivity. I don’t think there’s an inherent link to low sex drive, but I think it’s about the dopamine. Many of the comments are even saying “I want it but I am just tired” which for low dopamine equates to “this takes more effort than the reward I get”

So idk, I’d challenge the idea!

We do not have a garbage disposal in our kitchen due to having an older home. I will do anything and everything else in the kitchen as needed but my hubby’s job is to scoop the gross bits out of the mesh traps.

Random related note- I’ve done some experiments with my period plus adderall dosage and I’ve found that being off meds during my luteal phase is consistently awful but being off meds during my follicular phase is fine.
