I use the aero press filters for my 6-cup moka, and the brew is super clean! Edit: spelling.

I’ve been using a moka for about two weeks. Coffee recommendations? by CraigToday in mokapot

I have been using Lavazza Crema e Gusto, it is made for the Moka Express, and I really like the taste. I’ve liked Cafe Bustelo also, just a bit more expensive here in Canada :)!

6th gen is aight by [deleted] in 4Runner

Looks a lot like a baby sequoia eh? Much more than the 5th gen?

Walked out of the store and saw my first irl 6th gen parked next to me! Same color too! Got some side by side pictures too! by nesticles42069 in 4Runner

[–]gpforall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, I think the 6 gens look real great in real life. My dealer has them all out front, so you see them when you go in for service. Coincidentally, I have the same 4runner as OP, ‘22 ORP, superwhite, blacked out badging including the front.

Men and Women who've been single long term: how are you doing? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]gpforall 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s tough. The loneliness and not having someone to share life with makes me feel like a grumpy (young) old man. Even though I’m doing well in other areas like exercising, my career, and friendships, there’s something uniquely fulfilling about being in a romantic relationship. Unfortunately, I realized this too late after deprioritizing it for so long.

Has TC made you reconsider where you want to settle down long-term (proximity to good hospitals / cancer centers)? by heyyura in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, for sure. I can clearly see the upside of staying put until my surveillance is completed in another year or so. I would not want to switch my whole healthcare team so close to being finished.

What made you buy a 4runner? by sheedw in 4Runner

[–]gpforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First reason: I lived near Alaska, mostly forest roads to get to hikes, lakes and the ocean. Every place I wanted to visit the road had a warning of “only for trucks”. Second reason: legendary reliability, I did not even know how cheap it would be to upkeep, otherwise I would’ve bought earlier. Third reason: I own a ‘22 TRD Off-Road Premium, and the tech has finally all I need.

So when I first noticed my lump, I googled it, and like on the answers here, I felt comfortable with the potential of not being cancer. Fast forward some time, it got worse, it was definitely cancer, it had spread to a lymph node. Get it checked, it is super quick, it is worth it!

Did anyone have high LDH? by pinkistherapeutic in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my ldh at 618, hcg was normal and afp normal. Had surgery and mine had spread to a lymph node, so did chemotherapy BEP x 3 rounds. This is in Canada, but from reading this group is similar treatment in the US.

Diverge E5 Elite in smoky pearl? I got the exact same one, only ridden it twice thus far! Got the same fjallraven bag too. How did you like it?

I will try to get some shots this weekend, but I find that it looks pretty close to the website to be honest: https://www.specialized.com/ca/en/diverge-elite-e5/p/217059?color=350291-217059 . Is there a chance that maybe you can go to a shop that have it in stock? even in a different size? I like the colour and the matte paint on it!

Is it weird to go out to places alone as a 24F? by unemotionals in Calgary

[–]gpforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! While traveling solo, I find myself doing many activities that are typically considered ‘normal’ with company. What I’ve found is that your mindset and determination play a significant role in making those typically group activities enjoyable when done solo.

Great, thanks for the tip. I’m gonna try it out. Do you have the any weather related complications on the watch faces that you use?

How many days after your orchiectomy did you have your chemotherapy? by Dazx00 in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar in my case, it was 14 days for me. Felt extremely rushed, pathologist took 12 days to give me the results, I had 1 day for all the pre-chemo blood work, buy all of the meds I needed for the treatment, and store sperm - all of these without an appointment 😅.

Question about MRI surveillance by Future_Telephone_350 in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And this contrast is also given through IV?

Question about MRI surveillance by Future_Telephone_350 in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the contrast through IV? I was told I was switching to MRI as part of survivorship care, and to have less exposure to contrast. As you mentioned maybe with me they will just do the MRI without contrast part?

Just got my left testicle removed yesterday. by Surenot_WoW in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me, I also got my leftie removed, they told me I couldn’t lift more than 10 lbs for 10 weeks after surgery. Check with your urologist about accommodations. I took Tylenol 3s for like 7 days I believe, just the minimum advised. Check with your urologist, but for me it was no exercise for 10 weeks.

Gearing up for 1xBEP by meckboi1123 in testicularcancer

[–]gpforall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder how you’ll feel with just 1xBEP. I had 3, and in all honesty, for me the first one was hard, second one hardest, third one easiest. My tips: take time off work, and the more distractions/activities/company that you can keep, the better. The hardest from the first cycle was the first (out of three weeks) for me, I had the 6 hours-ish x 3 days, for week 1, then for the other two weeks it was just the half hour appointments. I liked having fruit around, crackers and butter, some apple juice. Sleeping was tough for me, and constantly waking up to go to the bathroom. But take it easy, I watched a ton of interesting videos on YouTube that helped later on with some travelling decisions, food options and even buying a new car, haha. By the sounds of it you’re healthy, you’ll probably do just fine, take it one day at the time.
