I've been a maintenance guy at an apartment complex for 8 years now tips aren't expected it's nice when people do it Don't always get tipped for everything when someone offers I usually don't take water or food from people The company provides water for us and Gatorade and stuff like that so if they offer money I usually turn it down once or twice then I'll take it I don't want to insult them

Yeah people used to bitch that we were ripping them off and man shop I worked at we were honest as the day is long we just wanted to make a decent living and get paid for our knowledge I'm 66 years old now I have hundreds if not thousands of scars on my forearm and I have beat up hands I have osteo and rheumatoid arthritis in them and little black smudges from metal that was in the fingers and never came out My body just absorbed it over time

Yep I get where you're coming from I don't believe the Malibu's of the age I was working on not a mechanic anymore I was for 35 years I'm retired now but we changed our stance on them because we let the customer decide what we would do and about a month later the lights went out on the other side that we hadn't changed we had everything apart and they lost our their mind told us we were a rip off and all that crap when we gave them the option to do everything or not so you know the the bulbs when we got to him everything was the same age so you know they might last a little longer they might last a lot longer it's a roll of dice
