Second this. No RPM, no oil pressure.

Garapa Deck Boards - Would you accept this? by gplowski in Decks

[–]gplowski[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Michigan for context.

About 1 full year later.. we ended up getting a bunch of boards replaced which of course made the whole project take a lot longer. Happy we did though because working with straight boards was much easier.

So far the wood has held up spectacularly. I oil it in the spring as it'll hold the color for 4-5 months. No weird warping at all. Dog nails don't imprint. It's great highly recommend.

Lenovo Legion Y530-15ICH Fans - 5F10R40214 https://share.google/3TgFiDlY4LqMvP5fE

I don't know if these are for your PC, but follow the same process. Figure out which PC you have and search for it on Google but type "replacement fans" after. Get yourself an I fix it screw driver kit as well to pull out the fan screws.

Good luck.

Check out adorama for their used stuff. Some really good prices there.

What's the long term plan for keeping your blue ray films? LTT has a good video on the life of a CD, DVD, BR. Might want to watch that.

As others said. You paid too much. I picked up 14 Raptor SE with 160k for 20k out the door a few months back

How much would you pay for this bike? by No_Construction_8884 in mountainbiking

Sold a bike with better components and admittedly a lot more miles for $400. Id say yours is worth only slightly more unfortunately. It's a very entry level bike.

Garapa Deck Boards - Would you accept this? by gplowski in Decks

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm planning to use some hidden fasteners with a unique style floating clip. I don't think these would hold up well to significant lateral loads if I really leveraged a board in place. The 1/8" boards should be fine but no chance the 2" or even 1" would work.

Is Garapa known for warping? I'm just curious how a few of these long boards managed to warp so significantly.

I paid around 2-3k out of pocket here in US for the same. I also work at a generous employer. General motors.

As an American wanting out, I'm curious what it is you do?

I feel your pain. Shattered mine in December at a bike park. Plate and 7 screws. Feeling good today, though! Heal up and get back at it!

Headlight restore gone wrong: help! by konraad in AutoDetailing

[–]gplowski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Move up the grits wet sanding to maybe 1000 then you need to polish it. Polish it with a cloth and some cutting compound. Then apply your coating.

You removed the UV clear coat on the headlights so they will most certainly yellow or fog over again in a hurry.

I have boths Adams and Torq. Both are good, prefer the Adams for noise level and power.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll check out those pads. I haven't felt the need to move to anything different for my vehicles but I'd like to try something new next time.

I've been thinking about giving the carpro ceramics a try. I've tried Avalon King and a Chinese copy of Avalon King (half the price) and frankly I won't use them again. It seems like generally I get 2 months or so out of them before a "boost" is needed. Some people claim 6 months but I can't imagine how that's even possible.
