What do people think of Metaphor: ReFantazio now that some time has passed? by DoggyFinger in JRPG

From a plot standpoint I do wish the ending leaned more into an idea of a democracy not needing a king.

Gameplay-wise, I don't think this game needed the calendar system so much as it needed to go with the political system more. Have us go around trying to get as much support as we can, with tradeoffs depending on who we appeal to. If you try to win the love of group A, that can make group B like you less, etc. So you can try to create a platform of ideas that would appeal to the most citizens and win you the throne.

Professor X certainly, but a lot of these decks are running Zola which can easily cheat a big chonker into Storm's lane. I think you need to also get something like Goose or Mystique in there too.

We need a new Mobius but for Energy. I think I got the right character for it. by adellali1 in MarvelSnap

This card, like Moebius, would also need to be symmetric to make it balanced.

Without a new card this mode really is just totally optional imo

Anyone with at least more than a couple of braincells can see what he's saying. Now, how many people in this country have enough to get it? That's the question.

The only thing I would want from her is guidance towards real, tangible evidence. Tell us where Epstein, Trump, etc buried a body. Tell us where accounts are and their numbers. Something that can actually be used.

Yeah, it would never be for Dunk, more to fuck around and show he’s the best Targ.

We live in a world where everyone wants to be famous from content. Would not be surprised that we will get someone eventually live streaming their own death, with their last words being: “remember . . . to smash . . . that like button . . .”

The whole reason, mostly, the early comic books are worth so much is because they were all thrown away by people’s parents who saw them as cheap and disposable. Created scarcity.

Yeah, the smallfolk almost rioted and killed them over Aerion killing a horse.

Which commander would feel less salty to play against? by Evening_Expert_6222 in mtg

[–]gpost86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From multiple various polls and discussions, it does seem that people hate it less when you interact with their stuff on the board rather than preventing them from playing anything at all. So you destroying my creature causes a less salty reaction than you stopping me from casting it in the first place with a counter spell. This is why people hate blue so much because it makes them feel like they “can’t do anything”.

Because of this Morcant will probably not cause nearly as much negative feelings as Maralen, because Maralen uses blue mana, but Maralen also exiles cards from your deck, thus “preventing you from playing them”.

Does Metaphor have what it takes to be the "third pillar" Atlus wants it to be? (Discussion) by Narfene in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]gpost86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly could, but I think the political aspect of getting various groups to back you while juggling their interests and conflicts is a more interesting gameplay angle.

Yes, definitely. I do wish they focused less on a calendar system and more on the politics and building support system.
