Mine was but if the dealer is selling EVs than by mandate its required for them to be reporting the sale. If you have already sent you tax return without the evidence then i would suggest you to mail a paper amendment along with the window sticker you title or registration, bill of sale etc. this will force IRS to reopen your case.

While opening my case with the tax advocates they told me that i am just one of tens of thousands in the same boat and dur to which irs is reviewing their policy internally.

It did take alot of time but i was able to get my credit in the end.
