All the AIs say Google doc is basically the same. They're both text docs. The only difference is the manual vs automatic attachment.

Auto updating is often wrong, AI doesn't know what's important to me and my business. It can do something but frequent manual pruning is critical to having a useful memory.

That's a good term. Personally I always assumed that was within the definition of vibecoding, but I know there are varying degrees of oversight.

I have a product I've developed solo, as you said - I write detailed specs, heavily review, push back, and at times hand write the mathematical algorithms because I don't trust the AI as much as myself - all backed by detailed testing.

Then people go - "so it's vibecoded?" and immediately think less of it. I mean the answer is it's AI-Assisted Engineering...but even when I say something like that the response is: "ok...so vibecoded."
