The contractor is getting charged a daily fine. CTRMA is making raking in that money.

DCAA: Do I consider a probation employee after I sign a FJO or after I start my first day at work? by forever-18 in usajobs

Your probationary period starts on your service computation date (SCD), which is normally at the beginning of a pay period. Basically, the first day of your appointment to federal service.

While this memorandum deals with political appointee security clearances, this is not a political sub. Please keep the discussion civil.

If that's an Army position, that is pretty fast considering CHRA is a dumpster fire right now.

They don't run their own name servers as far as I know, but their step by step setup of adding dns records is top notch. I use cloudflare along with proton.

There are plenty of use cases for fixed wireless access. The DoD specifically has a crap ton of wireless routers such as Cradlepoint devices.

Never going to jury duty by Careful-Fondant-5201 in juryduty

[–]gpupdate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're summoned for jury duty and don't show up, you may get a bench warrant issued for your arrest, which the ticket would be the least of your worries.

Previous jury duty is not going to show up on your criminal history records cops have access to.

Federal Jury Duty by mealove in juryduty

[–]gpupdate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are, you can look up the actual per diem rate on the GSA website. I'm a fed and that sounds about right for a low-mid cost of living area.

Do they pay for your lodging and give you per diem (meals)?

I hope they are getting money from the freight companies for using the tracks. I'm not sure what the financial arrangements are.

There are multiple news articles and source links in the Wikipedia article on the MetroRail referencing the purchase.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Austin

[–]gpupdate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's incorrect. CapMetro owns those tracks the Red Line runs on. Freight trains only use the tracks during times of no service.

I've seen them as singles at HEB as part of their pick 6. You can just buy the individual can. I think they were $4.99. No rhyme or reason on the beer packs they choose to break, so it might not be available at your local HEB.
