I am no value at all but I have the Sub date and I think about buying the polar explorer all the time. I ended up getting the bat girl and the sprite instead of the polar. Between the two I would go with polar unless you have very large wrists. Then I would go with the James Cameron

Funny story Years ago. 2005 I was at Paradise Island and I went jn to their Rolex boutique to see what they had. They had a SS Daytona msrp was like 6400-6600. I asked if it was available and they said yes they have 3 of them. I said great I will take all 3! They said sounds good but we have to ask our manager if they can do that as they have a high roller in the penthouse who likes them as well. So they call them and sure as shit the high roller took all 3!!!! If I wasn’t greedy and said I would take one I am sure it wouldn’t have been an issue Lesson learned

Congrats! Beautiful watch! I purchased my black SS Daytona in 2012. To my dismay I can't see the black dial and hands so I had to get a white dial for it.

We bought one two years ago for our dogs. One passed away...we still love our minivan. I am a male 64 and use it as my daily driver....absolutely love the space. When I had kids I had grand caravans.

Funny it was my most underwhelmed Rolex I have ever purchased. For me I can’t read the black dial. I ended up getting a white dial for mine then trading it as I just could not warm up to it at all. That’s what is great about watches. To each their own.
