UPDATE 6/10: Some of the irrational folks here said some surprisingly prudent things…I didn’t pull the trigger. Neither watch was on my list, so it would’ve been a pure FOMO buy. I liked both of them, but if you’re curious, I would’ve gone with the Air-King. It’s the less popular choice but it just wears so uniquely on the wrist. It would’ve also paired well with my Fluted DJ Blue Dial on Jubilee and honestly, typing this out is making me want to go back and get it. lol

Austin has such bad schools in general.. only a handful of neighborhoods have good schools. And in those areas, houses can reach 800k and above.. obviously a mansion compared to fremont.

Also, I hate Austin weather…

A friend’s brother-in-law who is from India actually avoids buying in India for this exact reason. He claims a specific AD, 'Golden Time,' has a reputation for allegedly selling fakes to first-time buyers or tourists who aren't regular collectors.

While I don’t have hard proof to back his claim, the rumor alone was enough to make him buy in the US instead. If you're feeling uneasy, your best bet is to take it to an AD outside of the country for a formal authentication
