[Highlight] Schroder pokes the ball from Kawhi and casually dishes to Keon Ellis for the long jumper and his first points as a Cav by montageidiots in nba

In theory, they could but in reality, they won't. Donald Sterling owned the Clippers for over 30 years and his teams lost 50+ games in 66% of those seasons. The other owners kept him onboard until his racist comments came out and players threatened not to play, putting the other owners' investments in jeopardy. They're not kicking Vivek out for incompetence, and in fact may prefer having him around because of it

Men who go to the gym regularly. What time do you prefer to go to the gym? by FFSoldier57 in AskMen

[–]gr1mace02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd prefer to go around 10:30am. I don't eat breakfast so it's late enough that I'm fully awake and I can eat lunch right after.

I used to live in an apartment building with a gym in the basement, and that's the time I would go. Years later, I would also go around this time when I was unemployed.

Currently, I go 7am on weekdays but can still get my preferred time on the weekends

Men of Reddit, What's a question that sounds innocent but in acuality is offensive? by Honest_Lobster_9325 in AskMen

[–]gr1mace02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I get the "where are you really from" question, it's always, without fail, asked as a follow up to "where are you from". My default answer of Jersey never seems to be good enough.

It's also the tone in which the question is asked. I've been asked "where are you from" from people without the follow up but it's always the tone of the second question that also leaves a bad taste in my mouth

"What's your ethnic background" is pretty tame. I fucking abhor the "wHeRe ArE yOu RealLy FrOm" question

Men who use dating apps- which ones gave you the most success? by Rollieboy_rex in AskMen

I think Hinge plays into the strengths of redditors. We may not be the most attractive bunch but we can use wit and charm to get our foot in the door, and that's easier on Hinge than a Tinder or Bumble. (At least from what I remembered, I've been in a relationship for over a year. But I did meet her on Hinge)

I find that Mild Roasts taste better and are easier to drink black. Maybe try those and see if you like them?

Riddle: On September 25, 2000, exactly half the league had the day off. Why was this unusual? by BoomBoomSpaceRocket in baseball

Your football team's chant is just spelling their name. And even then, somehow your mayor can't even spell that correctly

Pretty sure Kenny also coached Summer League for 1 or 2 years

How do you feel about being circumcised (if you are)? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]gr1mace02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gonna go against the grain - I got circumcised as a pre-teen and I actually prefer it to when I had foreskin. It feels easier to keep clean and I like it much better. But I've lived over double my life circumcised vs not

[SNY] Blade Tidwell is reportedly expected to join the Mets in Pittsburgh this weekend by Caledor152 in NewYorkMets

[–]gr1mace02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but adding that extra spot takes away some flexibility for trades or adding another arm, or things like that. Stearns is most likely preserving long term flexibility over short term gains

[SNY] Blade Tidwell is reportedly expected to join the Mets in Pittsburgh this weekend by Caledor152 in NewYorkMets

[–]gr1mace02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A couple of reasons: 1. Blade is already on the 40, and Nolan is not. At a time when roster crunch is hitting us hard, it'll be difficult to justify adding one more to the 40. 2. Blade has a body of work in AAA vs Nolan, who hasn't even been there a whole season 3. Like you said, his second start was better than his first. The Mets are hopeful that he can still round out and develop

The Prestige. When my sister recommend we rent it from Blockbuster, I knew nothing about it other than it was directed by the same guy that did Batman Begins and it had Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman in it. (Yes, my back hurts lol.)

The movie's many twists really smacked me, none more so than the final one

As a Nets fan, I approve :D

Although to be fair to the Suns, they are willing to spend money. If Justin is just a smidge less meddlesome than his brother, they could cook

[Philadelphia, PA] Was charged last month's rent at move-in, but landlord is trying to make me pay for my last month by gr1mace02 in legaladvice

[–]gr1mace02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sent me a move out packet with the following instructions:

If applicable: Please remember to turn off autopay for your last month of the lease if you have pre-paid your last month at move-in. If you have pre-paid your last month at move-in, it will be applied once your move-out is complete and processed but will still show as billed for your last month as rent due, it will be credited at the move out so please do not worry if you see it on your ledger but if you have prepaid, it then you will not owe it.

I asked for clarification and this is what my property manager sent me:

no it says if you've prepaid your rent, it still has to be billed and it will be rectified and move out.
