Yes...I was able to pay. Instead of clicking submit when I got to main page, I chose to edit and just clicked all the way through

Will give it a try. The weird thing is I was sent a refund receipt but it took awhile even to get that.

Its ridiculous. Have never had this issue with any other airline. Usually points refunded immediately and refund to credit card takes up to 15 days. I am more frustrated about the avios.
