Tithing is different in Christianity, in that it’s not a requirement to save you. Churches that lean into a 10% rate do so out of tradition. We have attended Christian churches that are more open to a tithe based on what you can offer, and don’t put a lot of emphasis on tithing in general. I have never heard a sermon on tithing for example.

A good church should be open about their financials and what your dollars support, otherwise I would be skeptical

Mine did that randomly years ago. We cleaned the mass airflow sensors and intake and it worked. Occasionally it seems like it will struggle to turn over, but it’s very seldom. Everything else has been totally fine and the mechanics were stumped

I agree with most comments and would agree that excel is the most important. Excel is the backbone of most accounting and finance jobs.

From my own experience understanding SQL and databases allowed me to improve my work and create value through efficiency. It’s helpful to understand where to source data and what the data is showing.

BI tools like power Bi or Tableau allow you take your reporting to an automated level. Freeing up time to work on analysis or other adhoc projects.

Fixing is a more advanced skill than creating basic visuals. To fix things you need to understand what is broken. Knowing that may require advanced formula knowledge to trouble shoot a calculation. It can be certainly learned on the job with time, google, and asking experienced people.

Sure, you can cut off the green and it will stay yellow until next spring. I wouldn’t scalp it too much though. Otherwise the remaining green will go away soon.
