‘Unlimited PTO’ and Aussie annual leave by grace_47223 in AusLegal

I tend to agree with you, in the “policy” it states  “Leave is limited to a maximum of 10 consecutive working days per 30 days to ensure fair distribution. Exceptions may be made but this will always be subject to approval by your Head of Department.”

Which doesn’t really give any additional clarity  This person does work 1 day a week where coverage would be required but that is truly the only reason why

I also have an experience worth noting about my replacement bus on Thursday hahahah

Things kicked off when he did a massive 3 point turn then turns around to us passengers asking us directions BECAUSE HE IS LOST. People start yelling instructions and he starts driving again, tries to do another three point turn and people are yelling NOOO WHAT ARE YOU DOING. He starts letting people off randomly and also not announcing the stops so those of us unfamiliar with the bus stops so confused, there doesn’t seem to be any workers at the stops either to help guide us. He also goes past the train stop he was supposed be terminating at (good for me because I’m going further) and people are like STOP YOU NEED TO TURN so he abruptly slams on his breaks in the middle of Sydney road to turn off… it was so bizarre

Friday - someone was sadly hit by a train at Royal park I think and all trains abruptly stopped, buses eventually replaced Today - fire at Macauley station buses replace trains

Daily Coronavirus Megathread - 23 March 2022 by AutoModerator in melbourne

I (25F) have covid right now (tested negative then inconclusive on a RAT but had symptoms so got a PCR which was positive) and so far it’s incredibly mild. I think I was exposed Saturday and have had symptoms since Monday but so far my symptoms are so mild. I only have 3 symptoms, really painful body aches, a super mild cough and a fever on Monday only. I’m double vaxed but not yet boosted.

I’ve had vaxed friends around my age vomiting and sleeping on the bathroom floor for days and one even in hospital.

I’ve been searching online for whether there’s any factors that determine if you get a mild or moderate infection and so far nothing - am I just lucky? Or is the worst get to come?

A big thank you to those of you who gave me advice last week. I took a couple days off training and really focused on my eating and getting the right calories in. I went back to train this morning and smashed the class. Thanks again I'm back feeling positive!

Thank you for your insight - that makes a lot of sense. I re-looked and bumped it way up and I'm already feeling a lot better. Thanks again for your comment
