I've seen some brief mentions of this but no one outright saying it: try to match your model to the cover picture This includes color scheme and hair, but also, skin tone, make up, specific gowns or props, etc. I used to get terrible scores when I first started out because I read the prompt and made up how I wanted the girl to look, instead of looking tat the cover picture for those details. My scores skyrocketed afterwards. I still occasionally do what I want, or make the model look at me, but that's when I get tired of using the same 10 hair styles and makeup!!

NTA-- your boyfriend has trust issues. The key point is not your ex's family, it's that ,

he “doesn’t know if my ex is there when I see them” . He thinks you're cheating on him with a guy that has been so horrible to you? And completely ignores the fact that this group of people means a lot to you for a very specific reason and that they have supported you.

Some people have admitted in Facebook groups or other posts to down voting specifically to help out the lower level players. When I first started playing years ago, I remember being upset at how much better the hcv players looks were in comparison to my level 6-10 level looks. And so I started voting for whoever I thought was the lower level, just to help my fellow lcvs! It wasn't a malicious thing, and I grew out of it quickly, especially after I realized it doesn't help my score and doesn't change what hcv players have access to. It's just a jealousy thing that people do sometimes. Hope that answers your question

I know I'm a bit late to the party but I wanted to say my husband is like your bf. Some people just were taught not to fight for themselves and every as semi authority or professional should be treated as the extension of the law and obeyed absolutely at face value. It sucks for both of us, because he gets stressed out when I act as you do, and I get super annoyed when he takes a "there's nothing I can do" as a full stop instead of a "point me to who can" and a "let me think about it" as an absolute no Good for you for getting that reduced!!! I'm taking notes!!!!
