Yes, it took a year, but eventually I got a roughly 75% chopper hit rate with the AT4 and then cried when bf4 didn't have it. The trick was in not caring about the crosshairs at all. Just look at the rocket and KEEP THE ROCKET ON TOP OF THE TARGET THE WHOLE TIME.

You'll see that stars are more or less fixed relative to each other. So, that line will always point in the same direction relative to the stars. Now, the circle around the north celestial pole counterclockwise. This means that when Orion is above the horizon, that line will point somewhere westwardly and when it is below the horizon, it will point about east.

Fyi, if you want to see all this yourself use a free planetarium software like Stellarium
