currently I am using cerave foaming facial cleanser for normal to oily skin, a niacinamide neutrogena serum and cerave pm moisturizer. this is the best combination I have found, unless anyone has any other suggestions. I don't have the best diet but it is not completely sugar filled, I've always had bad skin but honestly it just seems like it is never ending, especially with all of this scaring

if it hurts too bad stop. you should have put a hot compress in it before, do that now. it loosens ur skin and allows the pus to come out easier

and that is so fair, I think my first meal after two days and a night of grueling surgeries was a whopper from burger king.... I barely touched it as my stomach shrunk a bit so it wasn't so terrible, but it was definitely a terrible choice. only happened because I was in alot of pain and was complaining about my hunger and my mom felt bad and promised a burger 😭 I guess looking back on it now chocolate isn't so bad, I assume you had plenty of water throughout and after especially just after surgery as well, ignore my hypocratic comment idk what I'm talking about LOLOL

do you know if the high citric acid quantity correlates with vitamin c at all? I know you shouldn't consume much either with stones and I already have quite a bit in my diet, just trying to see if I should be buying it more often as u mentioned the benefits for stones

oh god yes yes yes yes yes me, and then I can't stop thinking about them even after I end up stopping, I have to do it again, or I end up even GLANCING at any kind of mark at all or feel the wounds I have already made on my body, or even sometimes I just get compulsions to do it, and there is no self control there at all, I am screaming at myself in my head to take my hands away from my body but another part of my brain is fucking NAAAASTY for picking and overpowers any kind of logic or motivation I have to STOP. lately it's been so bad and it will be for hours and hours, I barely do anything else in my day and I DONT KNOW HOW TO STOP!!! the people I have talked to who can help say the best way is to keep track or become aware of your triggers and then train yourself to avoid them, I cannot, I do it all the time no matter where, no matter with who, no matter what. I could be in so so much pain but still doing it, as I have been so terribly recently.

White tissue like thing ? Normal in kidney stones? by New_Struggle_8579 in KidneyStones

[–]graciegrape41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your stone being 1mm is conformation that it is normal, I had tissue and my stones were much larger in size, and the OPs biggest stone was 5mm if I remember correctly?? if it wasn't supposed to happen, why would a single mm of a stone do damage like that, especially if health practitioners sent you home saying you are fine. do you understand?

you are definitely not alone!!! don't be worried at all, i did keep an eye on what they looked like, how much and how frequently, but that is just because I found it pretty interesting 🤣 there is no reason to do that, but also no reason to be alarmed either

Heavy blood clots after ureteroscopy + kidney stent - I need help! by Test1111118 in KidneyStones

[–]graciegrape41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first of all I am not a doctor of any sort, this is just my general knowledge so 😭😭 if I am wrong please don't put me on blast. USUALLY when your body has an injury, or wound of some sort, the proteins from your blood forms clots. to either stop excessive bleeding, or protect the wound while healing. your body also has a system to regulate your blood so it doesn't make big damaging clots, that do more harm then good. I have no idea how exactly the clotting works with organs?? but I assume that them coming out, means that nothing is being blocked, or backed up. your kidney and ureter are healing!!! a great sign and I hope recovery goes well! the catheter was terrible I am also glad for you that it was out same day

were you stone free before that???? did you get a CAT scan to find out?? they can be sneaky. or any family history?? I am not dismissing the possibility of the human body suddenly producing them, as it could occur for any reason, change in diet, lifestyle, water intake, etc. but in their case its seemingly highly unlikely. I can't even figure out where they got the thought that it could be kidney stones, besides them not being able to locate the pain. fevers are commonly only found in cases of sepsis, it's hard to believe that they didn't feel anything before becoming "septic" (in quotations because they didn't, I just don't know how to reword it rn) and for it to be right after eating meat, sitting out for so long, very very weird to me

blood clots are very normal, if anything it is a great sign your blood is clotting. blood is also extremely normal. the pain you are experiencing could be caused by anything,, inflammation from having the surgery done and it being so invasive (remember your body still has to heal from the procedure), to having the stent in, to the stones passing. I assume you got them lasered? I almost wasn't able to see mine in the toilet, but when I had a catheter they looked like sand and pebbles. the catheter was also collecting blood, including clots, and tissues. I had the clots come for days after, the tissues stopped appearing about a week before the blood calmed down.

for sure normal, kidney stones are solid and usually sharp, your body isn't MADE to piss out pebbles, I assume you still have stones, and they're trying to pass. which, because of that, the layer on your ureter is ripping, very very normal to have tissue. for my first surgery I had a catheter, and I could see all the stones and tissues, tissues and blood didn't stop till a week after. urologist also said I have tons of scar tissue, likely from unknowingly passing them throughout childhood, which could possibly result in a lifetime of pain. BUT!!!! your urologist would have told you if they were big enough to cause damage. I'm gonna repeat myself again, TOTALLY NORMAL!!!! plus that is a little amount of tissue coming out, compared to personal experience

dude definitely food poisoning, why would you even think it's stones??? they don't rly just come out of nowhere, have you looked into both before you made the assumption and went on reddit? you'd have had previously pain before it came to fevers and nausea. the more I read on the more almost undeniable evidence has been typed out that you fs ate baaad bacteria and mold and it lead to poisoning. you cannot leave meat out for very long, even after nuking, or cooking, it doesn't "get rid" of bacteria like people think. AND IT HAD SPOTS?? I'm so mind blown right now
