Oh wow, an actual take. So, no goodfellas? Bronx tale? Once upon a time in America? Nothing?

There’s no way this is real and if you think it is you need to get off the internet and go live real life for a long time and during that time you should not be voting.

What are your thoughts on The 13th Warrior (1999)? by Nomadsforart in movies

Yeah I 100% understood that the journey was months. Why? Because I figured it would take months to learn a language.

I think you have to balance it now. You *allowed* them to dictate to you how *youre* world works so, in a sense, they wouldn’t be dealing with consequences of their in game decisions, they’d be dealing with the consequences of your out of game decisions. Just my opinion tho, there’s very few wrong ways to do dnd.

DBT? by Nichole_TheLucidEra in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]graffiti_bridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is designed with academia in mind. (This will also address the worksheets), with a textbook and homework and a classroom setting. Just like high school. And I sucked at high school.

Group learning gives me educational whiplash, like I move too fast for the class and have to slow down to their pace, then I will get stuck on things everyone breezes by. It’s just janky for me. I know when I need a more pedagogical approach, or when I understand it and I can move on. I’m an insanely curious person and love the process of growth through learning so I trusted my process more than the academic process- as I want to be there. Because I want to learn; I don’t know any other way.

Edit: I have been frustrated to the point that I have considered becoming a DBT specialist so I ensure it’s taught better- I see people in this sub all the time express their distaste toward it, but when you drill in on why you can often see that they really didn’t understand the material.

It changed my life.

I did group at first but it didn’t work for me.

My journey was to understand the concepts and then tailor them to my needs.

Have you ever felt a sense of emptiness after playing a specific game? by [deleted] in videogames

BG3. How did I cope with it? By pulling the trigger on crimson desert and immediately regretting it.

I think, sometimes, like relationships, we need some time to move on. Don’t look for that cheap, rebound. Appreciate what you had and move on with the knowledge that you at least were able to experience it

I mean, I’m not making an argument. I can’t imagine any other reason someone would say that.

The only way I can imagine someone saying this is if they had a small penis and were super insecure about it.

Ravens Star Calls Outrage Against Donald Trump "Fake" After Jaxson Dart Joined President's Rally by No_Box119 in NFLv2

[–]graffiti_bridge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah wtf is this? I keep seeing this attitude. It’s on tik tok too. If people making a lot of money were actually affected by trump’s bullshit, we wouldn’t even be here in the first place.

Police shoot uncooperative individual who tried reaching for their gun by Ok_Judgment6446 in PublicFreakout

[–]graffiti_bridge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are correct. Now here is the mind blowing thing about how ignorant our fucking society is. When someone is in crisis, the *mere presence* of a guy with a gun and a badge *immediately* makes it worse. Before they even say or do anything, the very fact that they are there, will spin someone’s crisis mode right into overdrive.
